The Winner of the 2023 Vissla Style Matters is...

You might have guessed it. He made it tough not to choose him despite hundreds of really good entries from all over the world that feature a variety of surf approaches, waves and crafts…but this guy’s act is pretty tough to follow right now. Let’s make it official:

The winner of Vissla’s inaugural Style Matters competition is Ethan Ewing and his clip from J-Bay filmed by Hunter Martinez.

Watch below as Wave-Ki professor, Style Matters judge and voice of reason in the style matters debate Brad Gerlach surprises Ethan with a cool $10,000 USD for his wave at J-Bay. Not a bad way to have your breakfast interrupted.
