Best Sections of All-Time: Nathan Hedge in Super Computer

Sara Taylor has the controls this week and gives us her pick for Best Section of All Time and it’s a doozy. And one that’s easy to let slip through the cracks. But feels so authentically Y2k Rip Curl.

“Andy Irons surfing to NIN in Campaign 2 and Robert August at Cape St Francis immediately comes to mind.

And I’ve always liked the Volcom Movies and the Taylor Steele, the Malloy family and Bruce Brown of it all. Bill Ballard filmed a lot with the women, which was cool. Thomas Campbell creates a different feeling I always loved. Dog Town and Z boys doc was one of my favorites growing up, I’ve watched it a too many times to count. 

Old Christian Fletcher films are fun and thank you Dane Reynolds for pairing good music to really nice surf clips when we needed it most. I yield my time.

With all that said, I really think there’s something special about Jon Frank films. 

My favorite is Super Computer. For my best sections of all time selection, I’m going to go with Nathan Hedge in Super Computer.”
