Friday Night Flicks: Twin Peaks Season 3, Episode 8
I don't know where this lands in all time favorites of stuff to watch, but it's way up there. To me it's a masterpiece of art. Twin Peaks is no secret obviously, and an absolute slog of a journey. It takes some serious commitment to get through it all, and it's not all amazing. Plus, like lots of Lynch’s stuff I still have no freaking idea what happened. Tons of people hate it, but I find it well worth the effort. But this episode doesn't really require all the homework, I've shown this to a few friends who refuse to do Twin Peaks, and they totally love it. So if you're a Lynch or Twin Peaks hater, give this one episode a shot. Turn the volume up real loud. It's a hoot of a time to get lost in, or watch all of Twin Peaks and get completely fucking lost. I think that might be the point... maybe.—Warren Smith
