My Orbit with Filmmaker Matt Payne
Matt Payne is a well-connected filmmaker. You aren’t going to find a surfer or skater unwilling to work with Matt. And there’s a reason. Matt is a joy to be around.
He’s an artist and genuinely wants to make videos and films that don’t go in Spam folder. His most recent film is the epitome of that: a refreshingly core Octopus is Real film called “Mission Control” now playing across the internet worldwide (and below if you haven’t seen it). It features all your favorite surfers and some of the best tunes in a surf film in many moons. Matt’s fingerprints are all over it.
