My Orbit with Warren Smith
At this point he needs no introduction: he is the most interesting man in surfing. You might find him on a Parisian balcony in silk or next in line at the Taco Bell in Panama City. He’ll look right at home in both instances. Check out 10 items in his orbit that make him that way.—Travis Ferré

Brian Eno- specifically Oblique Strategies and Music for Airports
“Brian Eno has done so much rad shit it’s impossible to widdle it down to a couple of sentences, but for me the two most impactful things he’s done are 1.) “Oblique Strategies” which is just plain freaking rad, (a deck of cards to help with creative ruts! ) and the other 2.) Music for Airports which changed my life. I’ve been calming my brain down to this album almost daily for about 15 years straight.”
Gulf Coast Board Quiver -
“Hayden boards “Misc” and “Cohort 2”, Exile Blair Conklin pro model skimboard, Relief Skate Supply skate board. All the bases are covered.”
Birdwell Trunks
“The Nylon 300’s are my favs, don’t rash and last forever, and look freaking killer.”
Downtown Panama City
“Like a lot of old smaller historic downtowns that got gutted, ours is having such a gigantic resurgence. Growing up It was never not a shell of what it once supposedly was decades ago, and I never really went down there except to skateboard some old abandoned buildings. (It’s like 30 mins from the beach). Now it’s thriving, there are breweries like History Class, restaurants and bbq like Harrison’s and Yard Bar, cafes, coffee shops and bars on every corner, music venues and skate shops like Relief Skate Supply and Moseys. Film festival with pop up jazz speakeasys, a witch store called Bay Witch, a public skatepark, there’s even an 80’s arcade that specializes in obscure Japanese video games called Point Break. It’s unreal. Cole Davis, my partner on the wave park, he and his wife Rachel opened her dream general store called Revival House with a little bar in the back. We usually start there for a few specialized spritzers that Cole whips up, and head out into the world to see what trouble downtown is causing that weekend. Very different, good times trouble compared to getting arrested for skateboarding at some shitting building when I was a kid.”

“Photography has paid alot of bills for me over the years after surfing. So I always keep this baby around. Also…. www.warremsith.co - just saying ya know…”
Belt from Bali
“A plastic belt I got on the side of the road in Bali.”
Etudes
“Came across this brand from Paris at LA book fair I think a few years back, and didnt even know it was a clothing brand. Like all nice things It’s pretty expensive, but I dig what they do and the photo books are rad. ”
Books
“A couple of my favorite are my Dad’s original duct taped copy of “Be Here Now” by Ram Dass, Robert Adams’ “Summer Nights, Walking,” a copy of “Stillness Speaks” by Eckart Tolle that Craig Anderson gave me, and a signed copy of William Egggleston’s “2 1/4” that I got in his hometown of Memphis TN while on cross country road trip with Dion Aguis, only its not signed to me.”
Lindsey Hall
My mega beach babe, Lindsey Hall. She’s my ultimate partner and inspiration in all things, we’re always in each other’s orbit whatever it is, and I’m very thankful for that.
