Ah yes, an umbrella for the shitstorm that is information. Here’s a couple things that we think are kinda cool happening this weekend and beyond in May.

Surfing’s most prolific lizard and renaissance man Dion Agius is at it again — this time taking a rather cheesy concept of making surfboard art and giving it a complete makeover. See his latest work starting this weekend at Rainbow Studios in NSW.

Alex Knost’s band Seventies Tuberide is playing at Zebulon in Los Angeles, Saturday night for free. Get tickets here.

The annual Cinco De Barney Airshow in memory of Shawn “Barney” Barron is going dow at the Lane in Santa Cruz. Get the details below. Do a punt, win money and prizes in honor of Barney. And if you don’t know Barney, hit play on the film below.

Ed Templeton’s amazing retrospective Wires Crossed: The Culture of Skateboarding, 1995-2012 — featuring a mix of underground and iconic photographers of skate history closes Sunday. It’s your last few days to check that if you’re in the So Cal area. It’s more than worth it.

DIIV released some new singles this month from their upcoming album Frog Boiling in Water. We especially enjoy the song and video for “Soul-Net.” Yeah, they’re a big band, we like ‘em. So what.

Big things have been brewing for Bali’s Bronson Medi for a long time. He just released a new part called “Missing Pieces” that includes a clip that is both therapeutic and progressive at the same time. A rare treat. Watch the whole part and keep an eye, Bronson’s gonna bloom soon.
