Watch Moments for Your Memory
Sometimes it feels to me like we live in a diluted, stuck times. I’ve been maybe saying that for a while and trying to refresh it myself, but right now, thanks to the “monoculture” we all scroll through every day, seeing the same algorithm and being corralled into places where there is “everything you need” it’s really starting to wear me out.
That and brands are all owned by the same masters and operate under the same rulebook. IG is full of people who think being punk means having pink hair, voting progressive and having your pronoun prominent in your bio. But it takes a lot more than that and Matt Tromberg has just teased a new series featuring some characters who have been abrasive and punk enough to be forgotten as many times as they’re remembered.
This cast of characters and Tromberg’s unprecedented access and creativity is a recipe for one of the most highly anticipated and refreshing video series we’ve seen in a long time. Below is a just a sampling, but it’s an 8-minute sampling and we couldn’t be more excited by it.
The series is set to star icons and underground heroes including Christian Fletcher, Bruce Irons, Greyson Fletcher, Balaram Stack, Gabe Morvil, Ford Archbold and more.
Pink is not punk, this is. Episode one is out tomorrow and stars an underground style master named Jonah Carter who is our early favorite to win “Style Matters.”—Travis Ferré

Moments For Your Memory is a project that consists of a series of episodes and socia; media content that will be released via Youtube and Instagram. The first episode will drop next week. Viewers can expect to see a behind the scenes look into the lives of this oddball group of surfers and skateboarders. I really love each and every one of these dudes. I feel very lucky to have spent time “working” with these guys and even luckier to be able to call them friends. This project wouldn’t be possible without the bond of our friendship. In other words, this project Is all self- funded and wouldnt be possible if anybody invovled was an asshole…. these guys are all good friends, and some of the nicest and most humble people I know. All that aside, they r all gnarly... surfers/ skateboarder/ artists/ musicians/(whatever u wanna call them). Never a dull moment… anyone wanna sponsor some of these guys? You’’d be dumb not to.
