The Return of Fresh Hell

The Return of Fresh Hell

Last year we did a series of experimental “issues” of Fresh Hell. You can find them here. They were monthly deliveries full of surfing, videos, music, photography, books, food, drink, interviews, art and insight you won’t find anywhere else. We did 3 last year and then went back to the lab to get them right.

And we’re back. They’re right and ready.

If you already subscribe, Fresh Hell will arrive on the first of every month.

Our first issue back [which is actually # 0004 overall] is one I didn’t always enjoy making back when I made printed mags: it’s the annual Hawaii Issue. And it was not for a lack of love of the place that I disliked making them, but merely because they had been done so often and so repetitively that they grew stale — it was anything but Fresh Hell. Fast forward ten years to today and nobody is doing them, or this for that matter. Inherent Bummer’s Fresh Hell Issue 0004: The Hawaii Issue, Curse of Lono Edition is out April 1st (Friday). Make sure you’re subscribed and we’ll take it from there. —Travis Ferré
